سُورَةُ الحَاقة

69. Al-Ḥāqqah · Muhammad Hamidullah · Saheeh International

52 آيات

بِسْمِ اِ۬للَّهِ اِ۬لرَّحْمَٰنِ اِ۬لرَّحِيمِ Au nom d'Allah, le Tout Miséricordieux, le Très Miséricordieux. In the name of Allah, the Entirely Merciful, the Especially Merciful.

1

اَ۬لْحَآقَّةُ مَا اَ۬لْحَآقَّةُۖ ﰀ

Alhâqqatu mâ lhâqqah

L'inévitable [l'Heure qui montre la vérité] Qu'est-ce que l'inévitable

The Inevitable Reality What is the Inevitable Reality

2

وَمَآ أَدْر۪يٰكَ مَا اَ۬لْحَآقَّةُۖ ﰁ

Wamâ adrêka mâ lhâqqah

Et qui te dira ce que c'est que l'inévitable

And what can make you know what is the Inevitable Reality

3

كَذَّبَتْ ثَمُودُ وَعَادُۢ بِالْقَارِعَةِۖ ﰂ

Kadhdhabat thamûdu wa‘âdum bilqâri‘ah

Les Thamûd et les 'Aad avaient traité de mensonge le cataclysme

Thamud and 'Aad denied the Striking Calamity

4

فَأَمَّا ثَمُودُ فَأُهْلِكُواْ بِالطَّاغِيَةِۖ ﰃ

Fa'ammâ thamûdu fa'uhlikû bittâghiyah

Quant aux Thamûd, ils furent détruits par le [bruit] excessivement fort

So as for Thamud, they were destroyed by the overpowering [blast]

5

وَأَمَّا عَادٞ فَأُهْلِكُواْ بِرِيحٖ صَرْصَرٍ عَاتِيَةٖ ﰄ

Wa'ammâ ‘âdun fa'uhlikû birîhin sarsarin ‘âtiyah

Et quant aux 'Aad, ils furent détruits par un vent mugissant et furieux

And as for 'Aad, they were destroyed by a screaming, violent wind

6

سَخَّرَهَا عَلَيْهِمْ سَبْعَ لَيَالٖ وَثَمَٰنِيَةَ أَيَّامٍ حُسُوماٗۖ فَتَرَى اَ۬لْقَوْمَ فِيهَا صَرْع۪ىٰ كَأَنَّهُمُۥٓ أَعْجَازُ نَخْلٍ خَاوِيَةٖۖ ﰅ

Sakhkharahâ ‘alayhim sab‘a layâlin wathamâniyata ayyâmin husûman fatarâ lqawma fîhâ sar‘ê ka'annahumû a‘jâzu nakhlin khâwiyah

qu'[Allah] déchaîna contre eux pendant sept nuits et huit jours consécutifs; tu voyais alors les gens renversés par terre comme des souches de palmiers évidées

Which Allah imposed upon them for seven nights and eight days in succession, so you would see the people therein fallen as if they were hollow trunks of palm trees

7

فَهَلْ تَر۪ىٰ لَهُم مِّنۢ بَاقِيَةٖۖ ﰆ

Fahal tarê lahum mim bâqiyah

En vois-tu le moindre vestige

Then do you see of them any remains

8

وَجَآءَ فِرْعَوْنُ وَمَن قَبْلَهُۥ وَالْمُوتَفِكَٰتُ بِالْخَاطِئَةِ ﰇ

Wajâ'a fir‘awnu waman qablahû walmûtafikâtu bilkhâtî'ah

Pharaon et ceux qui vécurent avant lui ainsi que les Villes renversées, commirent des fautes

And there came Pharaoh and those before him and the overturned cities with sin

9

فَعَصَوْاْ رَسُولَ رَبِّهِمْ فَأَخَذَهُمُۥٓ أَخْذَةٗ رَّابِيَةًۖ ﰈ

Fa‘asaw rasûla rabbihim fa'akhadhahumû akhdhatar râbiyaah

Ils désobéirent au Messager de leur Seigneur. Celui-ci donc, les saisit d'une façon irrésistible

And they disobeyed the messenger of their Lord, so He seized them with a seizure exceeding [in severity]

10

اِنَّا لَمَّا طَغَا اَ۬لْمَآءُ حَمَلْنَٰكُمْ فِے اِ۬لْجَارِيَةِ ﰉ

Innâ lammâ taghâ lmâ'u hamalnâkum fî ljâriyah

C'est Nous qui, quand l'eau déborda, vous avons chargés sur l'Arche

Indeed, when the water overflowed, We carried your ancestors in the sailing ship

11

لِنَجْعَلَهَا لَكُمْ تَذْكِرَةٗ وَتَعِيَهَآ أُذْنٞ وَٰعِيَةٞۖ ﰊ

Linaj‘alahâ lakum tadhkiratan wata‘iyahâ udhnun wâ‘iyah

afin d'en faire pour vous un rappel que toute oreille fidèle conserve

That We might make it for you a reminder and [that] a conscious ear would be conscious of it

12

فَإِذَا نُفِخَ فِے اِ۬لصُّورِ نَفْخَةٞ وَٰحِدَةٞ ﰋ

Fa'idhâ nufikha fî ssûri nafkhatun wâhidah

Puis, quand d'un seul souffle, on soufflera dans la Trompe

Then when the Horn is blown with one blast

13

وَحُمِلَتِ اِ۬لَارْضُ وَالْجِبَالُ فَدُكَّتَا دَكَّةٗ وَٰحِدَةٗ ﰌ

Wahumilati lardu waljibâlu fadukkatâ dakkatan wâhidaah

et que la terre et les montagnes seront soulevées puis tassées d'un seul coup

And the earth and the mountains are lifted and leveled with one blow

14

فَيَوْمَئِذٖ وَقَعَتِ اِ۬لْوَاقِعَةُ ﰍ

Fayawma'idhin waqa‘ati lwâqi‘ah

ce jour-là alors, l'Evénement se produira

Then on that Day, the Resurrection will occur

15

وَانشَقَّتِ اِ۬لسَّمَآءُ فَهِيَ يَوْمَئِذٖ وَاهِيَةٞ ﰎ

Wânshaqqati ssamâ'u fahiya yawma'idhin wâhiyah

et le ciel se fendra et sera fragile, ce jour-là

And the heaven will split [open], for that Day it is infirm

16

وَالْمَلَكُ عَلَىٰٓ أَرْجَآئِهَاۖ وَيَحْمِلُ عَرْشَ رَبِّكَ فَوْقَهُمْ يَوْمَئِذٖ ثَمَٰنِيَةٞ ﰏ

Walmalaku ‘alâ arjâ'ihâ wayahmilu ‘arsha rabbika fawqahum yawma'idhin thamâniyah

Et sur ses côtés [se tiendront] les Anges, tandis que huit, ce jour-là, porteront au-dessus d'eux le Trône de ton Seigneur

And the angels are at its edges. And there will bear the Throne of your Lord above them, that Day, eight [of them]

17

يَوْمَئِذٖ تُعْرَضُونَ لَا تَخْف۪ىٰ مِنكُمْ خَافِيَةٞۖ ﰐ

Yawma'idhin tu‘radûna lâ takhfê minkum khâfiyah

Ce jour-là vous serez exposés; et rien de vous ne sera caché

That Day, you will be exhibited [for judgement]; not hidden among you is anything concealed

18

۞ فَأَمَّا مَنُ ا۟وتِيَ كِتَٰبَهُۥ بِيَمِينِهِۦ فَيَقُولُ هَآؤُمُ اُ۪قْرَءُواْ كِتَٰبِيَهْۖ ﰑ

Fa'ammâ manu ûtiya kitâbahû biyamînihî fayaqûlu hâ'umu qra'û kitâbiyah

Quant à celui à qui on aura remis le Livre en sa main droite, il dira: «Tenez! lisez mon livre

So as for he who is given his record in his right hand, he will say, "Here, read my record

19

إِنِّے ظَنَنتُ أَنِّے مُلَٰقٍ حِسَابِيَهْۖ ﰒ

Innî zanantu annî mulâqin hisâbiyah

J'étais sûr d'y trouver mon compte»

Indeed, I was certain that I would be meeting my account

20

فَهُوَ فِے عِيشَةٖ رَّاضِيَةٖ ﰓ

Fahuwa fî ‘îshatir râdiyah

Il jouira d'une vie agréable

So he will be in a pleasant life

21

فِے جَنَّةٍ عَالِيَةٖ ﰔ

Fî jannatin ‘âliyah

dans un Jardin haut placé

In an elevated garden

22

قُطُوفُهَا دَانِيَةٞۖ ﰕ

Qutûfuhâ dâniyah

dont les fruits sont à portée de la main

Its [fruit] to be picked hanging near

23

كُلُواْ وَاشْرَبُواْۖ هَنِيٓـٔاَۢ بِمَآ أَسْلَفْتُمْ فِے اِ۬لَايَّامِ اِ۬لْخَالِيَةِۖ ﰖ

Kulû washrabû hanî'am bimâ aslaftum fî layyâmi lkhâliyah

«Mangez et buvez agréablement pour ce que vous avez avancé dans les jours passés»

[They will be told], "Eat and drink in satisfaction for what you put forth in the days past

24

وَأَمَّا مَنُ ا۟وتِيَ كِتَٰبَهُۥ بِشِمَالِهِۦ ﰗ

Wa'ammâ manu ûtiya kitâbahû bishimâlihî

Quant à celui à qui on aura remis le Livre en sa main gauche, il dira: «Hélas pour moi! J'aurai souhaité qu'on ne m'ait pas remis mon livre

But as for he who is given his record in his left hand, he will say, "Oh, I wish I had not been given my record

25

فَيَقُولُ يَٰلَيْتَنِے لَمُ ا۟وتَ كِتَٰبِيَهْۖ ﰘ

Fayaqûlu yâlaytanî lamu ûta kitâbiyah

26

وَلَمَ اَدْرِ مَا حِسَابِيَهْۖ ﰙ

Walama dri mâ hisâbiyah

et ne pas avoir connu mon compte

And had not known what is my account

27

يَٰلَيْتَهَا كَانَتِ اِ۬لْقَاضِيَةَ ﰚ

Yâlaytahâ kânati lqâdiyah

Hélas, comme j'aurai souhaité que [ma première mort] fût la définitive

I wish my death had been the decisive one

28

مَآ أَغْن۪ىٰ عَنِّے مَالِيَهۖ ﰛ

Mâ aghnê ‘annî mâliyah

Ma fortune ne m'a servi à rien

My wealth has not availed me

29

هَّلَكَ عَنِّے سُلْطَٰنِيَهْۖ ﰜ

Halaka ‘annî sultâniyah

Mon autorité est anéantie et m'a quitté!»

Gone from me is my authority

30

خُذُوهُ فَغُلُّوهُ ﰝ

Khudhûhu faghullûh

«Saisissez-le! Puis, mettez-lui un carcan

[Allah will say], "Seize him and shackle him

31

ثُمَّ اَ۬لْجَحِيمَ صَلُّوهُ ﰞ

Thumma ljahîma sallûh

ensuite, brûlez-le dans la Fournaise

Then into Hellfire drive him

32

ثُمَّ فِے سِلْسِلَةٖ ذَرْعُهَا سَبْعُونَ ذِرَاعاٗ فَاسْلُكُوهُۖ ﰟ

Thumma fî silsilatin dhar‘uhâ sab‘ûna dhirâ‘an faslukûh

puis, liez-le avec une chaîne de soixante-dix coudées

Then into a chain whose length is seventy cubits insert him

33

إِنَّهُۥ كَانَ لَا يُومِنُ بِاللَّهِ اِ۬لْعَظِيمِ ﰠ

Innahû kâna lâ yûminu billâhi l‘azîm

car il ne croyait pas en Allah, le Très Grand

Indeed, he did not used to believe in Allah, the Most Great

34

وَلَا يَحُضُّ عَلَىٰ طَعَامِ اِ۬لْمِسْكِينِۖ ﰡ

Walâ yahuddu ‘alâ ta‘âmi lmiskîn

et n'incitait pas à nourrir le pauvre

Nor did he encourage the feeding of the poor

35

فَلَيْسَ لَهُ اُ۬لْيَوْمَ هَٰهُنَا حَمِيمٞ ﰢ

Falaysa lahu lyawma hâhunâ hamîm

Il n'a pour lui ici, aujourd'hui, point d'ami chaleureux [pour le protéger]

So there is not for him here this Day any devoted friend

36

وَلَا طَعَامٌ اِلَّا مِنْ غِسْلِينٖ ﰣ

Walâ ta‘âmuni llâ min ghislîn

ni d'autre nourriture que du pus

Nor any food except from the discharge of wounds

37

لَّا يَاكُلُهُۥٓ إِلَّا اَ۬لْخَٰطِـُٔونَۖ ﰤ

Lâ yâkuluhû illâ lkhâti'ûn

que seuls les fautifs mangeront»

None will eat it except the sinners

38

فَلَآ أُقْسِمُ بِمَا تُبْصِرُونَ ﰥ

Falâ uqsimu bimâ tubsirûn

Mais non... Je jure par ce que vous voyez

So I swear by what you see

39

وَمَا لَا تُبْصِرُونَ ﰦ

Wamâ lâ tubsirûn

ainsi que par ce que vous ne voyez pas

And what you do not see

40

إِنَّهُۥ لَقَوْلُ رَسُولٖ كَرِيمٖ ﰧ

Innahû laqawlu rasûlin karîm

que ceci [le Coran] est la parole d'un noble Messager

[That] indeed, the Qur'an is the word of a noble Messenger

41

وَمَا هُوَ بِقَوْلِ شَاعِرٖ قَلِيلاٗ مَّا تُومِنُونَ ﰨ

Wamâ huwa biqawli shâ‘irin qalîlam mâ tûminûn

et que ce n'est pas la parole d'un poète; mais vous ne croyez que très peu

And it is not the word of a poet; little do you believe

42

وَلَا بِقَوْلِ كَاهِنٖۖ قَلِيلاٗ مَّا تَذَّكَّرُونَۖ ﰩ

Walâ biqawli kâhinin qalîlam mâ tadhdhakkarûn

ni la parole d'un devin, mais vous vous rappelez bien peu

Nor the word of a soothsayer; little do you remember

43

تَنزِيلٞ مِّن رَّبِّ اِ۬لْعَٰلَمِينَۖ ﰪ

Tanzîlum mir rabbi l‘âlamîn

C'est une révélation du Seigneur de l'Univers

[It is] a revelation from the Lord of the worlds

44

وَلَوْ تَقَوَّلَ عَلَيْنَا بَعْضَ اَ۬لَاقَاوِيلِ ﰫ

Walaw taqawwala ‘alaynâ ba‘da laqâwîl

Et s'il avait forgé quelques paroles qu'ils Nous avait attribuées

And if Muhammad had made up about Us some [false] sayings

45

لَأَخَذْنَا مِنْهُ بِالْيَمِينِ ﰬ

La'akhadhnâ minhu bilyamîn

Nous l'aurions saisi de la main droite

We would have seized him by the right hand

46

ثُمَّ لَقَطَعْنَا مِنْهُ اُ۬لْوَتِينَ ﰭ

Thumma laqata‘nâ minhu lwatîn

ensuite, Nous lui aurions tranché l'aorte

Then We would have cut from him the aorta

47

فَمَا مِنكُم مِّنَ اَحَدٍ عَنْهُ حَٰجِزِينَۖ ﰮ

Famâ minkum mina hadin ‘anhu hâjizîn

Et nul d'entre vous n'aurait pu lui servir de rempart

And there is no one of you who could prevent [Us] from him

48

وَإِنَّهُۥ لَتَذْكِرَةٞ لِّلْمُتَّقِينَۖ ﰯ

Wa'innahû latadhkiratul lilmuttaqîn

C'est en vérité un rappel pour les pieux

And indeed, the Qur'an is a reminder for the righteous

49

وَإِنَّا لَنَعْلَمُ أَنَّ مِنكُم مُّكَذِّبِينَۖ ﰰ

Wa'innâ lana‘lamu anna minkum mukadhdhibîn

Et Nous savons qu'il y a parmi vous qui le traitent de menteur

And indeed, We know that among you are deniers

50

وَإِنَّهُۥ لَحَسْرَةٌ عَلَى اَ۬لْكٰ۪فِرِينَۖ ﰱ

Wa'innahû lahasratun ‘alâ lkêfirîn

mais en vérité, ce sera un sujet de regret pour les mécréants

And indeed, it will be [a cause of] regret upon the disbelievers

51

وَإِنَّهُۥ لَحَقُّ اُ۬لْيَقِينِۖ ﰲ

Wa'innahû lahaqqu lyaqîn

c'est là la véritable certitude

And indeed, it is the truth of certainty

52

فَسَبِّحْ بِاسْمِ رَبِّكَ اَ۬لْعَظِيمِۖ ﰳ

Fasabbih bismi rabbika l‘azîm

Glorifie donc le nom de ton Seigneur, le Très Grand

So exalt the name of your Lord, the Most Great
