سُورَةُ النَّازعَات

79. An-Nāzi‘āt · Muhammad Hamidullah · Saheeh International

45 verses

بِسْمِ اِ۬للَّهِ اِ۬لرَّحْمَٰنِ اِ۬لرَّحِيمِ Au nom d'Allah, le Tout Miséricordieux, le Très Miséricordieux. In the name of Allah, the Entirely Merciful, the Especially Merciful.

1

وَالنَّٰزِعَٰتِ غَرْقاٗ ﰀ

Wannâzi‘âti gharqâ

Par ceux qui arrachent violemment

By those [angels] who extract with violence

2

وَالنَّٰشِطَٰتِ نَشْطاٗ ﰁ

Wannâshitâti nashah

Et par ceux qui recueillent avec douceur

And [by] those who remove with ease

3

وَالسَّٰبِحَٰتِ سَبْحاٗ ﰂ

Wassâbihâti sabhâ

Et par ceux qui voguent librement

And [by] those who glide [as if] swimming

4

فَالسَّٰبِقَٰتِ سَبْقاٗ ﰃ

Fassâbiqâti sabqâ

puis s'élancent à toute vitesse

And those who race each other in a race

5

فَالْمُدَبِّرَٰتِ أَمْراٗ ﰄ

Falmudabbirâti amrâ

et règlent les affaires

And those who arrange [each] matter

6

يَوْمَ تَرْجُفُ اُ۬لرَّاجِفَةُ ﰅ

Yawma tarjufu rrâjifah

Le jour où [la terre] tremblera [au premier son du clairon]

On the Day the blast [of the Horn] will convulse [creation]

7

تَتْبَعُهَا اَ۬لرَّادِفَةُۖ ﰆ

Tatba‘uhâ rrâdifah

immédiatement suivi du deuxième

There will follow it the subsequent [one]

8

قُلُوبٞ يَوْمَئِذٖ وَاجِفَةٌ ﰇ

Qulûbun yawma'idhin wâjifah

Ce jour-là, il y aura des cœurs qui seront agités d'effroi

Hearts, that Day, will tremble

9

اَبْصَٰرُهَا خَٰشِعَةٞۖ ﰈ

Absâruhâ khâshi‘ah

et leurs regards se baisseront

Their eyes humbled

10

يَقُولُونَ أَ۟نَّا لَمَرْدُودُونَ فِے اِ۬لْحَافِرَةِ ﰉ

Yaqûlûna annâ lamardûdûna fî lhâfirah

Ils disent: «Quoi! Serons-nous ramenés à notre vie première

They are [presently] saying, "Will we indeed be returned to [our] former state [of life]

11

إِذَا كُنَّا عِظَٰماٗ نَّخِرَةٗۖ ﰊ

Idhâ kunnâ ‘izâman nakhiraah

quand nous serons ossements pourris?»

Even if we should be decayed bones

12

قَالُواْ تِلْكَ إِذاٗ كَرَّةٌ خَاسِرَةٞ ﰋ

Qâlû tilka idhan karratun khâsirah

Ils disent: «ce sera alors un retour ruineux!»

They say, "That, then, would be a losing return

13

فَإِنَّمَا هِيَ زَجْرَةٞ وَٰحِدَةٞ ﰌ

Fa'innamâ hiya zajratun wâhidah

Il n'y aura qu'une sommation

Indeed, it will be but one shout

14

فَإِذَا هُم بِالسَّاهِرَةِۖ ﰍ

Fa'idhâ hum bissâhirah

et voilà qu'ils seront sur la terre (ressuscités)

And suddenly they will be [alert] upon the earth's surface

15

هَلَ اَت۪يٰكَ حَدِيثُ مُوس۪ىٰٓ ﰎ

Hala têka hadîthu mûsê

Le récit de Moïse t'est-il parvenu

Has there reached you the story of Moses

16

إِذْ نَاد۪يٰهُ رَبُّهُۥ بِالْوَادِ اِ۬لْمُقَدَّسِ طُوَىۖ ﰏ

Idh nâdêhu rabbuhû bilwâdi lmuqaddasi tuwâ

Quand son Seigneur l'appela, dans Towâ, la vallée sanctifiée

When his Lord called to him in the sacred valley of Tuwa

17

اَ۪ذْهَبِ اِلَىٰ فِرْعَوْنَ إِنَّهُۥ طَغ۪ىٰ ﰐ

Adhhabi lâ fir‘awna innahû taghê

«Va vers Pharaon. Vraiment, il s'est rebellé!»

Go to Pharaoh. Indeed, he has transgressed

18

فَقُلْ هَل لَّكَ إِلَىٰٓ أَن تَزَّكّ۪ىٰ ﰑ

Faqul hal laka ilâ an tazzakkê

Puis dis-lui: «Voudrais-tu te purifier

And say to him, 'Would you [be willing to] purify yourself

19

وَأَهْدِيَكَ إِلَىٰ رَبِّكَ فَتَخْش۪ىٰۖ ﰒ

Wa'ahdiyaka ilâ rabbika fatakhshê

et que je te guide vers ton Seigneur afin que tu Le craignes?»

And let me guide you to your Lord so you would fear [Him]

20

فَأَر۪يٰهُ اُ۬لَايَةَ اَ۬لْكُبْر۪ىٰ ﰓ

Fa'arêhu layata lkubrê

Il lui fit voir le très grand miracle

And he showed him the greatest sign

21

فَكَذَّبَ وَعَص۪ىٰ ﰔ

Fakadhdhaba wa‘asê

Mais il le qualifia de mensonge et désobéit

But Pharaoh denied and disobeyed

22

ثُمَّ أَدْبَرَ يَسْع۪ىٰ ﰕ

Thumma adbara yas‘ê

Ensuite, il tourna le dos, s'en alla précipitamment

Then he turned his back, striving

23

فَحَشَرَ فَنَاد۪ىٰ ﰖ

Fahashara fanâdê

rassembla [les gens] et leur fit une proclamation

And he gathered [his people] and called out

24

فَقَالَ أَنَا رَبُّكُمُ اُ۬لَاعْل۪ىٰ ﰗ

Faqâla anâ rabbukumu la‘lê

et dit: «C'est moi votre Seigneur, le très haut»

And said, "I am your most exalted lord

25

فَأَخَذَهُ اُ۬للَّهُ نَكَالَ اَ۬لَاخِرَةِ وَالُاول۪ىٰٓۖ ﰘ

Fa'akhadhahu llâhu nakâla lakhirati walûlê

Alors Allah le saisit de la punition exemplaire de l'au-delà et de celle d'ici-bas

So Allah seized him in exemplary punishment for the last and the first [transgression]

26

إِنَّ فِے ذَٰلِكَ لَعِبْرَةٗ لِّمَنْ يَّخْش۪ىٰٓۖ ﰙ

Inna fî dhâlika la‘ibratal limay yakhshê

Il y a certes là un sujet de réflexion pour celui qui craint

Indeed in that is a warning for whoever would fear [Allah]

27

ءَآنتُمُۥٓ أَشَدُّ خَلْقاً اَمِ اِ۬لسَّمَآءُۖ بَنَيٰهَا ﰚ

Ântumû ashaddu khalqana mi ssamâ'u banâhâ

Etes-vous plus durs à créer? ou le ciel, qu'Il a pourtant construit

Are you a more difficult creation or is the heaven? Allah constructed it

28

رَفَعَ سَمْكَهَا فَسَوَّيٰهَا ﰛ

Rafa‘a samkahâ fasawwâhâ

Il a élevé bien haut sa voûte, puis l'a parfaitement ordonné

He raised its ceiling and proportioned it

29

وَأَغْطَشَ لَيْلَهَا وَأَخْرَجَ ضُحَيٰهَاۖ ﰜ

Wa'aghtasha laylahâ wa'akhraja duhâhâ

Il a assombri sa nuit et fait luire son jour

And He darkened its night and extracted its brightness

30

وَالَارْضَ بَعْدَ ذَٰلِكَ دَحَيٰهَآ ﰝ

Walarda ba‘da dhâlika dahâhâ

Et quant à la terre, après cela, Il l'a étendue

And after that He spread the earth

31

أَخْرَجَ مِنْهَا مَآءَهَا وَمَرْعَيٰهَا ﰞ

Akhraja minhâ mâ'ahâ wamar‘âhâ

Il a fait sortir d'elle son eau et son pâturage

He extracted from it its water and its pasture

32

وَالْجِبَالَ أَرْسَيٰهَا ﰟ

Waljibâla arsâhâ

et quant aux montagnes, Il les a ancrées

And the mountains He set firmly

33

مَتَٰعاٗ لَّكُمْ وَلِأَنْعَٰمِكُمْۖ ﰠ

Matâ‘al lakum wali'an‘âmikum

pour votre jouissance, vous et vos bestiaux

As provision for you and your grazing livestock

34

فَإِذَا جَآءَتِ اِ۬لطَّآمَّةُ اُ۬لْكُبْر۪ىٰ ﰡ

Fa'idhâ jâ'ati ttâmmatu lkubrê

Puis quand viendra le grand cataclysme

But when there comes the greatest Overwhelming Calamity

35

يَوْمَ يَتَذَكَّرُ اُ۬لِانسَٰنُ مَا سَع۪ىٰ ﰢ

Yawma yatadhakkaru linsânu mâ sa‘ê

le jour où l'homme se rappellera à quoi il s'est efforcé

The Day when man will remember that for which he strove

36

وَبُرِّزَتِ اِ۬لْجَحِيمُ لِمَنْ يَّر۪ىٰۖ ﰣ

Waburrizati ljahîmu limay yarê

l'Enfer sera pleinement visible à celui qui regardera

And Hellfire will be exposed for [all] those who see

37

فَأَمَّا مَن طَغ۪ىٰ وَءَاثَرَ اَ۬لْحَيَوٰةَ اَ۬لدُّنْي۪ا ﰤ

Fa'ammâ man taghê wa'âthara lhayawâta ddunyê

Quant à celui qui aura dépassé les limites et aura préféré la vie présente

So as for he who transgressed And preferred the life of the world

38

فَإِنَّ اَ۬لْجَحِيمَ هِيَ اَ۬لْمَأْو۪ىٰۖ ﰥ

Fa'inna ljahîma hiya lma'wê

alors, l'Enfer sera son refuge

Then indeed, Hellfire will be [his] refuge

39

وَأَمَّا مَنْ خَافَ مَقَامَ رَبِّهِۦ وَنَهَى اَ۬لنَّفْسَ عَنِ اِ۬لْهَو۪ىٰ ﰦ

Wa'ammâ man khâfa maqâma rabbihî wanahâ nnafsa ‘ani lhawê

Et pour celui qui aura redouté de comparaître devant son Seigneur, et préservé son âme de la passion

But as for he who feared the position of his Lord and prevented the soul from [unlawful] inclination

40

فَإِنَّ اَ۬لْجَنَّةَ هِيَ اَ۬لْمَأْو۪ىٰۖ ﰧ

Fa'inna ljannata hiya lma'wê

le Paradis sera alors son refuge

Then indeed, Paradise will be [his] refuge

41

۞ يَسْـَٔلُونَكَ عَنِ اِ۬لسَّاعَةِ أَيَّانَ مُرْسَيٰهَاۖ ﰨ

Yas'alûnaka ‘ani ssâ‘ati ayyâna mursâhâ

Ils t'interrogent au sujet de l'Heure: «Quand va-t-elle jeter l'ancre?»

They ask you, [O Muhammad], about the Hour: when is its arrival

42

فِيمَ أَنتَ مِن ذِكْر۪يٰهَآۖ ﰩ

Fîma anta min dhikrêhâ

Quelle [science] en as-tu pour le leur dire

In what [position] are you that you should mention it

43

إِلَىٰ رَبِّكَ مُنتَهَيٰهَآۖ ﰪ

Ilâ rabbika muntahâhâ

Son terme n'est connu que de ton Seigneur

To your Lord is its finality

44

إِنَّمَآ أَنتَ مُنذِرُ مَنْ يَّخْشَيٰهَاۖ ﰫ

Innamâ anta mundhiru may yakhshâhâ

Tu n'es que l'avertisseur de celui qui la redoute

You are only a warner for those who fear it

45

كَأَنَّهُمْ يَوْمَ يَرَوْنَهَا لَمْ يَلْبَثُوٓاْ إِلَّا عَشِيَّةً اَوْ ضُحَيٰهَاۖ ﰬ

Ka'annahum yawma yarawnahâ lam yalbathû illâ ‘ashiyyatana w duhâhâ

Le jour où ils la verront, il leur semblera n'avoir demeuré qu'un soir ou un matin

It will be, on the Day they see it, as though they had not remained [in the world] except for an afternoon or a morning thereof
