إِذَا زُلْزِلَتِ اِ۬لَارْضُ زِلْزَالَهَا ﰀ

Idhâ zulzilati lardu zilzâlahâ

Quand la terre tremblera d'un violent tremblement

When the earth is shaken with its [final] earthquake

وَأَخْرَجَتِ اِ۬لَارْضُ أَثْقَالَهَا ﰁ

Wa'akhrajati lardu athqâlahâ

et que la terre fera sortir ses fardeaux

And the earth discharges its burdens

وَقَالَ اَ۬لِانسَٰنُ مَا لَهَا ﰂ

Waqâla linsânu mâ lahâ

et que l'homme dira: «Qu'a-t-elle?»

And man says, "What is [wrong] with it

يَوْمَئِذٖ تُحَدِّثُ أَخْبَارَهَا ﰃ

Yawma'idhin tuhaddithu akhbârahâ

ce jour-là, elle contera son histoire

That Day, it will report its news

بِأَنَّ رَبَّكَ أَوْح۪ىٰ لَهَاۖ ﰄ

Bi'anna rabbaka awhê lahâ

selon ce que ton Seigneur lui aura révélé [ordonné]

Because your Lord has commanded it

يَوْمَئِذٖ يَصْدُرُ اُ۬لنَّاسُ أَشْتَاتاٗ ﰅ

Yawma'idhin yasduru nnâsu ashtâah

Ce jour-là, les gens sortiront séparément pour que leur soient montrées leurs œuvres

That Day, the people will depart separated [into categories] to be shown [the result of] their deeds

لِّيُرَوَاْ اَعْمَٰلَهُمْۖ ﰆ

Liyurawa ‘mâlahum

فَمَنْ يَّعْمَلْ مِثْقَالَ ذَرَّةٍ خَيْراٗ يَرَهُۥۖ ﰇ

Famay ya‘mal mithqâla dharratin khayran yarahû

Quiconque fait un bien fût-ce du poids d'un atome, le verra

So whoever does an atom's weight of good will see it

وَمَنْ يَّعْمَلْ مِثْقَالَ ذَرَّةٖ شَرّاٗ يَرَهُۥۖ ﰈ

Wamay ya‘mal mithqâla dharratin sharran yarahû

et quiconque fait un mal fût-ce du poids d'un atome, le verra

And whoever does an atom's weight of evil will see it
