بِسْمِ اِ۬للَّهِ اِ۬لرَّحْمَٰنِ اِ۬لرَّحِيمِ Au nom d'Allah, le Tout Miséricordieux, le Très Miséricordieux. In the name of Allah, the Entirely Merciful, the Especially Merciful.
وَيْلٞ لِّكُلِّ هُمَزَةٖ لُّمَزَةٍ ﰀ
Waylul likulli humazatil lumazah
Malheur à tout calomniateur diffamateur
Woe to every scorner and mocker
اِ۬لذِے جَمَعَ مَالاٗ وَعَدَّدَهُۥ ﰁ
Alladhî jama‘a mâlan wa‘addadahû
qui amasse une fortune et la compte
Who collects wealth and [continuously] counts it
يَحْسِبُ أَنَّ مَالَهُۥٓ أَخْلَدَهُۥ ﰂ
Yahsibu anna mâlahû akhladahû
pensant que sa fortune l'immortalisera
He thinks that his wealth will make him immortal
كَلَّاۖ لَيُنۢبَذَنَّ فِے اِ۬لْحُطَمَةِۖ ﰃ
Kallâ layumbadhanna fî lhutamah
Mais non! Il sera certes, jeté dans la Hutamah
No! He will surely be thrown into the Crusher
وَمَآ أَدْر۪يٰكَ مَا اَ۬لْحُطَمَةُۖ ﰄ
Wamâ adrêka mâ lhutamah
Et qui te dira ce qu'est la Hutamah
And what can make you know what is the Crusher
نَارُ اُ۬للَّهِ اِ۬لْمُوقَدَةُ ﰅ
Nâru llâhi lmûqadah
Le Feu attisé d'Allah
It is the fire of Allah, [eternally] fueled
اُ۬لتِے تَطَّلِعُ عَلَى اَ۬لَافْـِٕدَةِۖ ﰆ
Allatî tattali‘u ‘alâ laf'idah
qui monte jusqu'aux cœurs
Which mounts directed at the hearts
إِنَّهَا عَلَيْهِم مُّوصَدَةٞ ﰇ
Innahâ ‘alayhim mûsadah
Il se refermera sur eux
Indeed, Hellfire will be closed down upon them
فِے عَمَدٖ مُّمَدَّدَةٍۖ ﰈ
Fî ‘amadim mumaddadah
en colonnes (de flammes) étendues
