وَالتِّينِ وَالزَّيْتُونِ ﰀ

Wattîni wazzaytûn

Par le figuier et l'olivier

By the fig and the olive

وَطُورِ سِينِينَ ﰁ

Watûri sînîn

Et par le Mont Sînîn

And [by] Mount Sinai

وَهَٰذَا اَ۬لْبَلَدِ اِ۬لَامِينِ ﰂ

Wahâdhâ lbaladi lamîn

Et par cette Cité sûre

And [by] this secure city [Makkah]

لَقَدْ خَلَقْنَا اَ۬لِانسَٰنَ فِےٓ أَحْسَنِ تَقْوِيمٖ ﰃ

Laqad khalaqnâ linsâna fî ahsani taqwîm

Nous avons certes créé l'homme dans la forme la plus parfaite

We have certainly created man in the best of stature

ثُمَّ رَدَدْنَٰهُ أَسْفَلَ سَٰفِلِينَ ﰄ

Thumma radadnâhu asfala sâfilîn

Ensuite, Nous l'avons ramené au niveau le plus bas

Then We return him to the lowest of the low

إِلَّا اَ۬لذِينَ ءَامَنُواْ وَعَمِلُواْ اُ۬لصَّٰلِحَٰتِ فَلَهُمُۥٓ أَجْرٌ غَيْرُ مَمْنُونٖۖ ﰅ

Illâ lladhîna âmanû wa‘amilû ssâlihâti falahumû ajrun ghayru mamnûn

sauf ceux qui croient et accomplissent les bonnes œuvres: ceux-là auront une récompense jamais interrompue

Except for those who believe and do righteous deeds, for they will have a reward uninterrupted

فَمَا يُكَذِّبُكَ بَعْدُ بِالدِّينِۖ ﰆ

Famâ yukadhdhibuka ba‘du biddîn

Après cela, qu'est-ce qui te fait traiter la rétribution de mensonge

So what yet causes you to deny the Recompense

أَلَيْسَ اَ۬للَّهُ بِأَحْكَمِ اِ۬لْحَٰكِمِينَۖ ﰇ

Alaysa llâhu bi'ahkami lhâkimîn

Allah n'est-Il pas le plus sage des Juges

Is not Allah the most just of judges
