سُورَةُ الإنسَان

76. Al-Insān · Muhammad Hamidullah · Saheeh International

31 verses

بِسْمِ اِ۬للَّهِ اِ۬لرَّحْمَٰنِ اِ۬لرَّحِيمِ Au nom d'Allah, le Tout Miséricordieux, le Très Miséricordieux. In the name of Allah, the Entirely Merciful, the Especially Merciful.

1

هَلَ اَت۪ىٰ عَلَى اَ۬لِانسَٰنِ حِينٞ مِّنَ اَ۬لدَّهْرِ لَمْ يَكُن شَئْاٗ مَّذْكُوراًۖ ﰀ

Hala tê ‘alâ linsâni hînum mina ddahri lam yakun shay'am madhkûrâ

S'est-il écoulé pour l'homme un laps de temps durant lequel il n'était même pas une chose mentionnable

Has there [not] come upon man a period of time when he was not a thing [even] mentioned

اِنَّا خَلَقْنَا اَ۬لِانسَٰنَ مِن نُّطْفَةٍ اَمْشَاجٖ نَّبْتَلِيهِ فَجَعَلْنَٰهُ سَمِيعاَۢ بَصِيراًۖ ﰁ

Innâ khalaqnâ linsâna min nutfatina mshâjin nabtalîhi faja‘alnâhu samî‘am basîrâ

En effet, Nous avons créé l'homme d'une goutte de sperme mélangé [aux composantes diverses] pour le mettre à l'épreuve. [C'est pourquoi] Nous l'avons fait entendant et voyant

Indeed, We created man from a sperm-drop mixture that We may try him; and We made him hearing and seeing

اِنَّا هَدَيْنَٰهُ اُ۬لسَّبِيلَ إِمَّا شَاكِراٗ وَإِمَّا كَفُوراًۖ ﰂ

Innâ hadaynâhu ssabîla immâ shâkiran wa'immâ kafûrâ

Nous l'avons guidé dans le chemin, - qu'il soit reconnaissant ou ingrat

Indeed, We guided him to the way, be he grateful or be he ungrateful

4

اِنَّآ أَعْتَدْنَا لِلْكٰ۪فِرِينَ سَلَٰسِلاٗ وَأَغْلَٰلاٗ وَسَعِيراًۖ ﰃ

Innâ a‘tadnâ lilkêfirîna salâsilan wa'aghlâlan wasa‘îrâ

Nous avons préparé pour les infidèles des chaînes, des carcans et une fournaise ardente

Indeed, We have prepared for the disbelievers chains and shackles and a blaze

5

اِنَّ اَ۬لَابْرَارَ يَشْرَبُونَ مِن كَأْسٖ كَانَ مِزَاجُهَا كَافُوراً ﰄ

Inna labrâra yashrabûna min ka'sin kâna mizâjuhâ kâfûrâ

Les vertueux boiront d'une coupe dont le mélange sera de camphre

Indeed, the righteous will drink from a cup [of wine] whose mixture is of Kafur

6

عَيْناٗ يَشْرَبُ بِهَا عِبَادُ اُ۬للَّهِ يُفَجِّرُونَهَا تَفْجِيراٗۖ ﰅ

‘aynan yashrabu bihâ ‘ibâdu llâhi yufajjirûnahâ tafjîrâ

d'une source de laquelle boiront les serviteurs d'Allah et ils la feront jaillir en abondance

A spring of which the [righteous] servants of Allah will drink; they will make it gush forth in force [and abundance]

7

يُوفُونَ بِالنَّذْرِ وَيَخَافُونَ يَوْماٗ كَانَ شَرُّهُۥ مُسْتَطِيراٗۖ ﰆ

Yûfûna binnadhri wayakhâfûna yawman kâna sharruhû mustatîrâ

Ils accomplissent leurs vœux et ils redoutent un jour dont le mal s'étendra partout

They [are those who] fulfill [their] vows and fear a Day whose evil will be widespread

8

وَيُطْعِمُونَ اَ۬لطَّعَامَ عَلَىٰ حُبِّهِۦ مِسْكِيناٗ وَيَتِيماٗ وَأَسِيراً ﰇ

Wayut‘imûna tta‘âma ‘alâ hubbihî miskînan wayatîman wa'asîrâ

et offrent la nourriture, malgré son amour, au pauvre, à l'orphelin et au prisonnier

And they give food in spite of love for it to the needy, the orphan, and the captive

9

اِنَّمَا نُطْعِمُكُمْ لِوَجْهِ اِ۬للَّهِۖ لَا نُرِيدُ مِنكُمْ جَزَآءٗ وَلَا شُكُوراًۖ ﰈ

Innamâ nut‘imukum liwajhi llâhi lâ nurîdu minkum jazâ'an walâ shukûrâ

(disant): «C'est pour le visage d'Allah que nous vous nourrissons: nous ne voulons de vous ni récompense ni gratitude

[Saying], "We feed you only for the countenance of Allah. We wish not from you reward or gratitude

10

اِنَّا نَخَافُ مِن رَّبِّنَا يَوْماً عَبُوساٗ قَمْطَرِيراٗۖ ﰉ

Innâ nakhâfu mir rabbinâ yawman ‘abûsan qamtarîrâ

Nous redoutons, de notre Seigneur, un jour terrible et catastrophique»

Indeed, We fear from our Lord a Day austere and distressful

11

فَوَق۪يٰهُمُ اُ۬للَّهُ شَرَّ ذَٰلِكَ اَ۬لْيَوْمِ وَلَقّ۪يٰهُمْ نَضْرَةٗ وَسُرُوراٗۖ ﰊ

Fawaqêhumu llâhu sharra dhâlika lyawmi walaqqêhum nadratan wasurûrâ

Allah les protègera donc du mal de ce jour-là, et leur fera rencontrer la splendeur et la joie

So Allah will protect them from the evil of that Day and give them radiance and happiness

12

وَجَز۪يٰهُم بِمَا صَبَرُواْ جَنَّةٗ وَحَرِيراٗ ﰋ

Wajazêhum bimâ sabarû jannatan waharîrâ

et les rétribuera pour ce qu'ils auront enduré, en leur donnant le Paradis et des [vêtements] de soie

And will reward them for what they patiently endured [with] a garden [in Paradise] and silk [garments]

13

مُّتَّكِـِٕينَ فِيهَا عَلَى اَ۬لَارَآئِكِ لَا يَرَوْنَ فِيهَا شَمْساٗ وَلَا زَمْهَرِيراٗ ﰌ

Muttaki'îna fîhâ ‘alâ larâ'iki lâ yarawna fîhâ shamsan walâ zamharîrâ

ils y seront accoudés sur des divans, n'y voyant ni soleil ni froid glacial

[They will be] reclining therein on adorned couches. They will not see therein any [burning] sun or [freezing] cold

14

وَدَانِيَةً عَلَيْهِمْ ظِلَٰلُهَا وَذُلِّلَتْ قُطُوفُهَا تَذْلِيلاٗۖ ﰍ

Wadâniyatan ‘alayhim zilâluhâ wadhullilat qutûfuhâ tadhlîlâ

Ses ombrages les couvriront de près, et ses fruits inclinés bien bas [à portée de leurs mains]

And near above them are its shades, and its [fruit] to be picked will be lowered in compliance

15

وَيُطَافُ عَلَيْهِم بِـَٔانِيَةٖ مِّن فِضَّةٖ وَأَكْوَابٖ كَانَتْ قَوَارِيراٗۖ ﰎ

Wayutâfu ‘alayhim bi'âniyatim min fiddatin wa'akwâbin kânat qawârîrâ

Et l'on fera circuler parmi eux des récipients d'argent et des coupes cristallines

And there will be circulated among them vessels of silver and cups having been [created] clear [as glass]

16

قَوَارِيراٗ مِّن فِضَّةٖ قَدَّرُوهَا تَقْدِيراٗۖ ﰏ

Qawârîram min fiddatin qaddarûhâ taqdîrâ

en cristal d'argent, dont le contenu a été savamment dosé

Clear glasses [made] from silver of which they have determined the measure

17

وَيُسْقَوْنَ فِيهَا كَأْساٗ كَانَ مِزَاجُهَا زَنجَبِيلاً ﰐ

Wayusqawna fîhâ ka'san kâna mizâjuhâ zanjabîlâ

Et là, ils seront abreuvés d'une coupe dont le mélange sera de gingembre

And they will be given to drink a cup [of wine] whose mixture is of ginger

18

عَيْناٗ فِيهَا تُسَمّ۪ىٰ سَلْسَبِيلاٗۖ ﰑ

‘aynan fîhâ tusammê salsabîlâ

puisé là-dedans à une source qui s'appelle Salsabîl

[From] a fountain within Paradise named Salsabeel

19

۞ وَيَطُوفُ عَلَيْهِمْ وِلْدَٰنٞ مُّخَلَّدُونَ إِذَا رَأَيْتَهُمْ حَسِبْتَهُمْ لُؤْلُؤاٗ مَّنثُوراٗۖ ﰒ

Wayatûfu ‘alayhim wildânum mukhalladûna idhâ ra'aytahum hasibtahum lu'lu'am manthûrâ

Et parmi eux, circuleront des garçons éternellement jeunes. Quand tu les verras, tu les prendras pour des perles éparpillées

There will circulate among them young boys made eternal. When you see them, you would think them [as beautiful as] scattered pearls

20

وَإِذَا رَأَيْتَ ثَمَّ رَأَيْتَ نَعِيماٗ وَمُلْكاٗ كَبِيراً ﰓ

Wa'idhâ ra'ayta thamma ra'ayta na‘îman wamulkan kabîrâ

Et quand tu regarderas là-bas, tu verras un délice et un vaste royaume

And when you look there [in Paradise], you will see pleasure and great dominion

21

عَٰلِيهِمْ ثِيَابُ سُندُسٍ خُضْرٞ وَإِسْتَبْرَقٞۖ وَحُلُّوٓاْ أَسَاوِرَ مِن فِضَّةٖۖ وَسَق۪يٰهُمْ رَبُّهُمْ شَرَاباٗ طَهُوراًۖ ﰔ

‘âlîhim thiyâbu sundusin khudrun wa'istabraqun wahullû asâwira min fiddatin wasaqêhum rabbuhum sharâban tahûrâ

Ils porteront des vêtements verts de satin et de brocart. Et ils seront parés de bracelets d'argent. Et leur Seigneur les abreuvera d'une boisson très pure

Upon the inhabitants will be green garments of fine silk and brocade. And they will be adorned with bracelets of silver, and their Lord will give them a purifying drink

22

اِنَّ هَٰذَا كَانَ لَكُمْ جَزَآءٗ وَكَانَ سَعْيُكُم مَّشْكُوراًۖ ﰕ

Inna hâdhâ kâna lakum jazâ'an wakâna sa‘yukum mashkûrâ

Cela sera pour vous une récompense, et votre effort sera reconnu

[And it will be said], "Indeed, this is for you a reward, and your effort has been appreciated

23

اِنَّا نَحْنُ نَزَّلْنَا عَلَيْكَ اَ۬لْقُرْءَانَ تَنزِيلاٗۖ ﰖ

Innâ nahnu nazzalnâ ‘alayka lqur'âna tanzîlâ

En vérité c'est Nous qui avons fait descendre sur toi le Coran graduellement

Indeed, it is We who have sent down to you, [O Muhammad], the Qur'an progressively

24

فَاصْبِرْ لِحُكْمِ رَبِّكَ وَلَا تُطِعْ مِنْهُمُۥٓ ءَاثِماً اَوْ كَفُوراٗۖ ﰗ

Fasbir lihukmi rabbika walâ tuti‘ minhumû âthimana w kafûrâ

Endure donc ce que ton Seigneur a décrété, et n'obéis ni au pécheur, parmi eux, ni au grand mécréant

So be patient for the decision of your Lord and do not obey from among them a sinner or ungrateful [disbeliever]

25

وَاذْكُرِ اِ۪سْمَ رَبِّكَ بُكْرَةٗ وَأَصِيلاٗۖ ﰘ

Wadhkuri sma rabbika bukratan wa'asîlâ

Et invoque le nom de ton Seigneur, matin et après-midi

And mention the name of your Lord [in prayer] morning and evening

26

وَمِنَ اَ۬ليْلِ فَاسْجُدْ لَهُۥ وَسَبِّحْهُ لَيْلاٗ طَوِيلاًۖ ﰙ

Wamina llayli fasjud lahû wasabbihhu laylan tawîlâ

et prosterne-toi devant Lui une partie de la nuit; et glorifie-Le de longues [heures] pendant la nuit

And during the night prostrate to Him and exalt Him a long [part of the] night

27

اِنَّ هَٰٓؤُلَآءِ يُحِبُّونَ اَ۬لْعَاجِلَةَ وَيَذَرُونَ وَرَآءَهُمْ يَوْماٗ ثَقِيلاٗۖ ﰚ

Inna hâ'ulâ'i yuhibbûna l‘âjilata wayadharûna warâ'ahum yawman thaqîlâ

Ces gens-là aiment [la vie] éphémère (la vie sur terre) et laissent derrière eux un jour bien lourd [le Jour du Jugement]

Indeed, these [disbelievers] love the immediate and leave behind them a grave Day

28

نَّحْنُ خَلَقْنَٰهُمْ وَشَدَدْنَآ أَسْرَهُمْ وَإِذَا شِئْنَا بَدَّلْنَآ أَمْثَٰلَهُمْ تَبْدِيلاًۖ ﰛ

Nahnu khalaqnâhum washadadnâ asrahum wa'idhâ shî'nâ baddalnâ amthâlahum tabdîlâ

C'est Nous qui les avons créés et avons fortifié leur constitution. Quand Nous voulons, cependant, Nous les remplaçons [facilement] par leurs semblables

We have created them and strengthened their forms, and when We will, We can change their likenesses with [complete] alteration

29

اِنَّ هَٰذِهِۦ تَذْكِرَةٞۖ فَمَن شَآءَ اَ۪تَّخَذَ إِلَىٰ رَبِّهِۦ سَبِيلاٗۖ ﰜ

Inna hâdhihî tadhkiratun faman shâ'a ttakhadha ilâ rabbihî sabîlâ

Ceci est un rappel. Que celui qui veut prenne donc le chemin vers son Seigneur

Indeed, this is a reminder, so he who wills may take to his Lord a way

30

وَمَا تَشَآءُونَ إِلَّآ أَنْ يَّشَآءَ اَ۬للَّهُۖ إِنَّ اَ۬للَّهَ كَانَ عَلِيماً حَكِيماٗۖ ﰝ

Wamâ tashâ'ûna illâ ay yashâ'a llâhu inna llâha kâna ‘alîman hakîmâ

Cependant, vous ne saurez vouloir, à moins qu'Allah veuille. Et Allah est Omniscient et Sage

And you do not will except that Allah wills. Indeed, Allah is ever Knowing and Wise

31

يُدْخِلُ مَنْ يَّشَآءُ فِے رَحْمَتِهِۦۖ وَالظَّٰلِمِينَ أَعَدَّ لَهُمْ عَذَاباً اَلِيماٗۖ ﰞ

Yudkhilu may yashâ'u fî rahmatihî wazzâlimîna a‘adda lahum ‘adhâbana lîmâ

Il fait entrer qui Il veut dans Sa miséricorde. Et quant aux injustes, Il leur a préparé un châtiment douloureux

He admits whom He wills into His mercy; but the wrongdoers - He has prepared for them a painful punishment
