سُورَةُ القِيَامة

75. Al-Qiyāmah · Muhammad Hamidullah · Saheeh International

39 versets

بِسْمِ اِ۬للَّهِ اِ۬لرَّحْمَٰنِ اِ۬لرَّحِيمِ Au nom d'Allah, le Tout Miséricordieux, le Très Miséricordieux. In the name of Allah, the Entirely Merciful, the Especially Merciful.

1

لَآ أُقْسِمُ بِيَوْمِ اِ۬لْقِيَٰمَةِ ﰀ

Lâ uqsimu biyawmi lqiyâmah

Non!... Je jure par le Jour de la Résurrection

I swear by the Day of Resurrection

2

وَلَآ أُقْسِمُ بِالنَّفْسِ اِ۬للَّوَّامَةِۖ ﰁ

Walâ uqsimu binnafsi llawwâmah

Mais non!, Je jure par l'âme qui ne cesse de se blâmer

And I swear by the reproaching soul [to the certainty of resurrection]

3

أَيَحْسِبُ اُ۬لِانسَٰنُ أَلَّن نَّجْمَعَ عِظَامَهُۥ ﰂ

Ayahsibu linsânu allan najma‘a ‘izâmahû

L'homme, pense-t-il que Nous ne réunirons jamais ses os

Does man think that We will not assemble his bones

4

بَل۪ىٰۖ قَٰدِرِينَ عَلَىٰٓ أَن نُّسَوِّيَ بَنَانَهُۥۖ ﰃ

Balê qâdirîna ‘alâ an nusawwiya banânahû

Mais si! Nous sommes Capable de remettre à leur place les extrémités de ses doigts

Yes. [We are] Able [even] to proportion his fingertips

5

بَلْ يُرِيدُ اُ۬لِانسَٰنُ لِيَفْجُرَ أَمَامَهُۥۖ ﰄ

Bal yurîdu linsânu liyafjura amâmahû

L'homme voudrait plutôt continuer à vivre en libertin

But man desires to continue in sin

6

يَسْـَٔلُ أَيَّانَ يَوْمُ اُ۬لْقِيَٰمَةِۖ ﰅ

Yas'alu ayyâna yawmu lqiyâmah

Il interroge: «A quand, le Jour de la Résurrection?»

He asks, "When is the Day of Resurrection

7

فَإِذَا بَرَقَ اَ۬لْبَصَرُ ﰆ

Fa'idhâ baraqa lbasar

Lorsque la vue sera éblouie

So when vision is dazzled

8

وَخَسَفَ اَ۬لْقَمَرُ ﰇ

Wakhasafa lqamar

et que la lune s'éclipsera

And the moon darkens

9

وَجُمِعَ اَ۬لشَّمْسُ وَالْقَمَرُ ﰈ

Wajumi‘a shshamsu walqamar

et que le soleil et la lune seront réunis

And the sun and the moon are joined

10

يَقُولُ اُ۬لِانسَٰنُ يَوْمَئِذٍ اَيْنَ اَ۬لْمَفَرُّۖ ﰉ

Yaqûlu linsânu yawma'idhina yna lmafarr

l'homme, ce jour-là, dira: «Où fuir?»

Man will say on that Day, "Where is the [place of] escape

11

كَلَّا لَا وَزَرَۖ ﰊ

Kallâ lâ wazar

Non! Point de refuge

No! There is no refuge

12

إِلَىٰ رَبِّكَ يَوْمَئِذٍ اِ۬لْمُسْتَقَرُّۖ ﰋ

Ilâ rabbika yawma'idhini lmustaqarr

Vers ton Seigneur sera, ce jour-là, le retour

To your Lord, that Day, is the [place of] permanence

13

يُنَبَّؤُاْ اُ۬لِانسَٰنُ يَوْمَئِذِۢ بِمَا قَدَّمَ وَأَخَّرَۖ ﰌ

Yunabba'u linsânu yawma'idhim bimâ qaddama wa'akhkhar

L'homme sera informé ce jour-là de ce qu'il aura avancé et de ce qu'il aura remis à plus tard

Man will be informed that Day of what he sent ahead and kept back

14

بَلِ اِ۬لِانسَٰنُ عَلَىٰ نَفْسِهِۦ بَصِيرَةٞ ﰍ

Bali linsânu ‘alâ nafsihî basîrah

Mais l'homme sera un témoin perspicace contre lui-même

Rather, man, against himself, will be a witness

15

وَلَوَ اَلْق۪ىٰ مَعَاذِيرَهُۥۖ ﰎ

Walawa lqê ma‘âdhîrahû

quand même il présenterait ses excuses

Even if he presents his excuses

16

لَا تُحَرِّكْ بِهِۦ لِسَانَكَ لِتَعْجَلَ بِهِۦٓۖ إِنَّ عَلَيْنَا جَمْعَهُۥ وَقُرْءَانَهُۥۖ ﰏ

Lâ tuharrik bihî lisânaka lita‘jala bihî inna ‘alaynâ jam‘ahû waqur'ânahû

Ne remue pas ta langue pour hâter sa récitation Son rassemblement (dans ton cœur et sa fixation dans ta mémoire) Nous incombent, ainsi que la façon de le réciter

Move not your tongue with it, [O Muhammad], to hasten with recitation of the Qur'an Indeed, upon Us is its collection [in your heart] and [to make possible] its recitation

17

فَإِذَا قَرَأْنَٰهُ فَاتَّبِعْ قُرْءَانَهُۥ ﰐ

Fa'idhâ qara'nâhu fattabi‘ qur'ânahû

Quand donc Nous le récitons, suis sa récitation

So when We have recited it [through Gabriel], then follow its recitation

18

ثُمَّ إِنَّ عَلَيْنَا بَيَانَهُۥۖ ﰑ

Thumma inna ‘alaynâ bayânahû

A Nous, ensuite incombera son explication

Then upon Us is its clarification [to you]

19

كَلَّا بَلْ تُحِبُّونَ اَ۬لْعَاجِلَةَ ﰒ

Kallâ bal tuhibbûna l‘âjilah

Mais vous aimez plutôt [la vie] éphémère

No! But you love the immediate

20

وَتَذَرُونَ اَ۬لَاخِرَةَۖ ﰓ

Watadharûna lakhirah

et vous délaissez l'au-delà

And leave the Hereafter

21

وُجُوهٞ يَوْمَئِذٖ نَّاضِرَةٌ ﰔ

Wujûhun yawma'idhin nâdirah

Ce jour-là, il y aura des visages resplendissants

[Some] faces, that Day, will be radiant

22

اِلَىٰ رَبِّهَا نَاظِرَةٞۖ ﰕ

Ilâ rabbihâ nâzirah

qui regarderont leur Seigneur

Looking at their Lord

23

وَوُجُوهٞ يَوْمَئِذِۢ بَاسِرَةٞ ﰖ

Wawujûhun yawma'idhim bâsirah

et il y aura ce jour-là, des visages assombris

And [some] faces, that Day, will be contorted

24

تَظُنُّ أَنْ يُّفْعَلَ بِهَا فَاقِرَةٞۖ ﰗ

Tazunnu ay yuf‘ala bihâ fâqirah

qui s'attendent à subir une catastrophe

Expecting that there will be done to them [something] backbreaking

25

كَلَّآ إِذَا بَلَغَتِ اِ۬لتَّرَاقِيَ ﰘ

Kallâ idhâ balaghati ttarâqiy

Mais non! Quand [l'âme] en arrive aux clavicules

No! When the soul has reached the collar bones

26

وَقِيلَ مَن رَّاقٖ ﰙ

Waqîla mar râq

et qu'on dit: «Qui est exorciseur?»

And it is said, "Who will cure [him]

27

وَظَنَّ أَنَّهُ اُ۬لْفِرَاقُ ﰚ

Wazanna annahu lfirâq

et qu'il [l'agonisant] est convaincu que c'est la séparation (la mort)

And the dying one is certain that it is the [time of] separation

28

وَالْتَفَّتِ اِ۬لسَّاقُ بِالسَّاقِ ﰛ

Waltaffati ssâqu bissâq

et que la jambe s'enlace à la jambe

And the leg is wound about the leg

29

إِلَىٰ رَبِّكَ يَوْمَئِذٍ اِ۬لْمَسَاقُۖ ﰜ

Ilâ rabbika yawma'idhini lmasâq

c'est vers ton Seigneur, ce jour-là que tu seras conduit

To your Lord, that Day, will be the procession

30

فَلَا صَدَّقَ وَلَا صَلّ۪ىٰۖ ﰝ

Falâ saddaqa walâ sallê

Mais il n'a ni cru, ni fait la Salât

And the disbeliever had not believed, nor had he prayed

31

وَلَٰكِن كَذَّبَ وَتَوَلّ۪ىٰۖ ﰞ

Walâkin kadhdhaba watawallê

par contre, il a démenti et tourné le dos

But [instead], he denied and turned away

32

ثُمَّ ذَهَبَ إِلَىٰٓ أَهْلِهِۦ يَتَمَطّ۪ىٰٓۖ ﰟ

Thumma dhahaba ilâ ahlihî yatamattê

puis il s'en est allé vers sa famille, marchant avec orgueil

And then he went to his people, swaggering [in pride]

33

أَوْل۪ىٰ لَكَ فَأَوْل۪ىٰ ﰠ

Awlê laka fa'awlê

«Malheur à toi, malheur!»

Woe to you, and woe

34

ثُمَّ أَوْل۪ىٰ لَكَ فَأَوْل۪ىٰٓۖ ﰡ

Thumma awlê laka fa'awlê

Et encore malheur à toi, malheur

Then woe to you, and woe

35

أَيَحْسِبُ اُ۬لِانسَٰنُ أَنْ يُّتْرَكَ سُدىًۖ ﰢ

Ayahsibu linsânu ay yutraka sudâ

L'homme pense-t-il qu'on le laissera sans obligation à observer

Does man think that he will be left neglected

36

اَلَمْ يَكُ نُطْفَةٗ مِّن مَّنِيّٖ تُمْن۪ىٰ ﰣ

Alam yaku nutfatam mim maniyyin tumnê

N'était-il pas une goutte de sperme éjaculé

Had he not been a sperm from semen emitted

37

ثُمَّ كَانَ عَلَقَةٗ فَخَلَقَ فَسَوّ۪ىٰ ﰤ

Thumma kâna ‘alaqatan fakhalaqa fasawwê

Et ensuite une adhérence Puis [Allah] l'a créée et formée harmonieusement

Then he was a clinging clot, and [Allah] created [his form] and proportioned [him]

38

فَجَعَلَ مِنْهُ اُ۬لزَّوْجَيْنِ اِ۬لذَّكَرَ وَالُانث۪ىٰٓۖ ﰥ

Faja‘ala minhu zzawjayni dhdhakara walunthê

puis en a fait alors les deux éléments de couple: le mâle et la femelle

And made of him two mates, the male and the female

39

أَلَيْسَ ذَٰلِكَ بِقَٰدِرٍ عَلَىٰٓ أَنْ يُّحْـِۧيَ اَ۬لْمَوْت۪ىٰۖ ﰦ

Alaysa dhâlika biqâdirin ‘alâ ay yuhiya lmawtê

Celui-là [Allah] n'est-Il pas capable de faire revivre les morts

Is not that [Creator] Able to give life to the dead
